Pappa al pomodoro (Brød og tomatsuppe)

Denne enkle italienske veganske brødsuppe er hyggelig, smagfuld og nem at lave, og den bringer alle sommerens smagsindtryk til dit bord!

Ingredients

  • 500 g økologiske flåede tomater på dåse
  • 2 tykke skiver brød
  • 2 fed hvidløg
  • chili (valgfrit)
  • ekstra jomfru olivenolie efter smag
  • frisk basilikum efter smag
  • salt og peber efter smag

Directions

Step 1

Hæld nok olie i til at dække bunden af en gryde, tilsæt hakket hvidløg og evt. chili. Lad det stege et øjeblik, tilsæt tomaterne, og lad det koge ved middel varme i 20 minutter. Krydr efter smag.

Step 2

I mellemtiden tager du to skiver brød - ca. 2 cm tykke - og lægger dem i blød i vand i 10 minutter. Pres brødet godt, og kom det i tomatsaucen, mens den koger, og tilsæt også lidt vand. Fortsæt med at koge tomatsuppen i ca.

Step 3

15 minutter under jævnlig omrøring. Mod slutningen kan du bruge et piskeris til at gøre konsistensen mere cremet og glat. Tilsæt frisk basilikum og et dryp olie.

Server tomatsuppen varm, men ikke kogende.
